Background
In the course of the globalisation of economic activity, the term "management of change" for those responsible for human resources of internationally active enterprises is in the foreground. Complexity results in almost all enterprises and institutions by the dynamics of change which can only incompletely be directed by traditional control instruments. The following applies: "Processes dominate structures" and not the other way round. Therefore the understanding asserts itself in management that with regard to personnel decisions it is no longer an issue of quiet and smooth integration of staff members or concepts into stable structures. In the future, it will be much more an issue of the ability of organisations to take into account the demands of a so-called "learning enterprise".

As an example of the globalisation process manifesting itself we want to mention the expansion of the EC and the increasing number of company mergers around the world.

In all processes mentioned, persons having the most different cultural backgrounds face one another. For HR management this means focusing on interaction processes by taking the relevant cultural concepts into account.

Sequence and methodology
In a first free-of-charge evaluation, 4 heads consultants meet with the management of the company or interested executives. After an analysis of the situation and definition of the goals, we prepare a specific offer and concept for the specific question at short notice. We are thereby used to react also to short-term decisions of companies for the assignment of their executives abroad and to accompany them in a locally flexible manner. 4 heads has accordingly consolidated, goal-oriented consulting and coaching approaches.
